Spend Sunday studying for a tax exam at the end of the year (as part of an accountancy degree) or play SNES games on ZSNES on my laptop...

Guess what I've been doing all afternoon...

    May I suggest Prince of Persia, the SNES version is possibly the best version ever made. There's no blood when you die but the game is sweet. Much better than the awful but nice looking Megdrive/CD versions.

    Maybe Weaponlord as well that is one confusing finger crippling beat em' up, but it's fun once you get used to it.

    Any of the kunio beat em' ups if you can find em' with an English patch.

    Shiens revenge, it's bloody hard but quite fun.

    Pocky and Rocky 1 and 2, 2 fun little shooters

    Shadowrun, good RPG, and I would've suggested the obvious ones, Secret of Mana, Chronotrigger, Terranigma, Seiken Densetsu 3, etc. But chances are you already know how good these games are anyway :)

    SuperTrucks
    Super Turrican 2 (this game is fantastic)

    Oh and of course Yoshi's Island

    On the bright side, your exam doesn't have to be submitted until 5th April so you got plenty of time :)

    Ushio and Tora!: Weird Japanese beat em' up platform type thingy.

    Cosmo Gang The Video: Fun cutesy space invaders clone (jap).

    BASTARD!: Odd mode 7 based beat em' up, very hard to play.

    Ninja Warriors again/return (Eng/Jap): A fast paced sequel to the crap game,
    which is actually quite fun.

    Contra 3: Do not get Probotector even though it's the same game!

    Power Athlete/moves a.k.a Deadly moves: Get this just to look at it nd have a quick go, it's one of the worst 1 on 1 beat em' ups ever made. Laugh at it then delete.

    Tuff E Nuff/Dead Dance: Good Streetfighter II wannabe let down by the fact you can only choose 4 characters.

    Brass Boss/Doomsday Warrior: Weird 1 on 1 beat em' up that isn't really good, it has weird controls and the difficulty is quite unbalanced, but it's worth a look as a one of those games you missed or couldn't play first time around.

    Total Carnage: Almost as good as the coin op.

    Flying Warriors: Terrible game just get it to see how bad an overhyped game can turn out. It's laugh out loud crap!

    Axelay: I'm not a fan of shooters......especially vertical shooters but this is one of those few that I love.

    Pop n' Twinbee: Same reasons as axelay

    Sexy Parodius: Excellent coin op, translates into excellent SNES game, one of the few horizontal schmups that I like.
