I have had this a few years ago and had to move house twice. In this last few year she has tracked me down once. I also have a court order to keep her a way. It all started form when I did some TV work in the 1980's.

Is this one of the mentals from a website you met ? Or a local girl in town etc ? How come she knows where you work ?

If she really is a bit crazy i would seriously start writing down a list of what shes doing and what shes done, eventually if she carries on going crazy i would go to the police. A lot of times i'm sure a warning from the police will stop people. Sure she isnt a 100% 'fruit n nut' so a warning may help

No, its really happening and has been for , well a long time. When it was really bad she would telephone ever hour day or night. She told everyone she was my wife. Then when I started to stop her it just went on with her turning up at my house at all hours. It was very hard on my wife and kids so much we had to move house. She even got a job where I worked at the time - which was hell. In the last six months I got an email which makes me thin shes not given up. Thats why I asked for my WoS name change, I thought it was all over, we are now planning to move again.

Once this "nutter" sent my wife a full size salmon though the post which had gone off and the flies had got to it. After a few days in the post in a sealed container it didn't look very nice and the smell.. it took weeks to get rid of.

She was or still could be very ill

Yes the police , once they thought I was not joking did help. I had to keep a record of every thing I thought she did, so I profile could be built and I could go to court to keep her away. She cost me a small fortune, stealing things - clothing from the washing line. She would now be around 45 years old, I hope she gets help to treat her illness and she has a happy life.

Reminds me of my single days when i used to speak to girls on the net ! Talked to this girl from Texas (should have known that might have been a problem), so friendly at first. She developed this huge crush on me (we hadnt ever met !) which was flattering but weird, anyway carried on as pen pals, she sent over Texas stuff to me (I was a Dallas Cowboys fan) and i sent over english tat she wanted.

Anyway when i told her i had met someone she went mental, totally changed, said it was because of this condition she had (never knew about this) and went crazy, i remember when she was threatening suicide. She was a 26 year old virgin (dont laugh) and I could begin to tell that she wasnt used to any relationship so the thought of me seeing this other girl really pushed her to be crazy.

I still remember the call when she said she was taking the pills right then and there, very chilling.

She didnt and eventually went to a councillor which i think helped as her condition (forget the name of it) was improved and now she seems to be a changed woman. She has met someone else online (In England (gulp)) who shes about to marry but i never really hear from her now. But it was 7 years ago when she went crazy and it was very scary.

    But sorry back to Miles.

Keep a list of the things shes doing, BT will have a list of all the times shes called your house so that will also be important if the police get involved.

Also, consider getting a pocket video camera, so you can show evidence to the Police if it's necessary so that they take you seriously. MPEG-4 cameras that record to compact flash or SD cards are getting pretty inexpensive, will record for hours, and are easy to carry around with you all the time.

sorry to hear about your woes, my nut doesn't sound so bad in comparison.

yeah i met her off the net.

she found out where i worked cos i told her, i know it was stupid but i didn't think she'd go mental.

just been sat on reception waiting for her as she'd say she was going to come today, she hasn't turned up, so maybe it was a bluff.

i will prolly go to the police if any of her threats come true. i just don't want to escalate anything at the moment.

This chick sounds like one that me and one of my pals wound up for ages then she got scary so we pulled the plug (my smart friend decided to tell her my real name, and gave her my friggin' e-mail addy). It would've been about 5 years ago and she was 26 years old. However the one we were messing with said she had 6 kids, so it can't be the same one.

....As for Mile, a good way to stop a crazy coming round is to have another girl answer the door when she knocks (you do know other girls don't you :D). Sometimes that gets the message to sink in, however sometimes it may also make the crazy, crazier......you don't have any rabbits do you?

not a bad idea, i will get on the net and find a girl.

she'd been to my house, but i dont think she could find it again. its down a load of back alley's and it was dark.

Next time if she comes round uninvited, just sit there and blast out Westlifes greatest hits (borrow it off a girl) and sing along to them.

She'll then think you are totally crazy and stupid and will leave you well alone.

Or blast out Pet Shop Boys and dance very camp to it and start camping up your voice a bit, she may soon get the message.

Or you could talk about BT broadband like they do in the telly ad - that'll make her run away!

...or smash her in the face with my phone?

seriously though i have a real violent temper when it come to being backed in a corner, i'm more worried about her turning up at work starting some shit and me finishing it with my fists. instant dismissal that.
