I'm on a 4MB ADSL connection on an up-to-8MB line, and it's great. I can't remember the last time I had problems with it. My pc is on 24/7, usually downloading something or other, and I've not had to reboot the router in months.

I'm with Demon's HomeOfffice 8000 package, ?22 a month. Their FUP states that if you download more than 60GB in a rolling 30 day period, they limit your download speed in peak hours for the next 30 days. 60 GB is more than enough for me in 30 days. I once managed about 45GB in a really busy month. I have this bandwidth monitor program running in my task bar, so I can check how much I've downloaded.

Seriously, I used to pay 100 pounds a month to Telewest. Now I pay less than 50 to BT and 16 to SKY for the TV. at most, I pay 66 quid instead of 100/month.

If your with Sky for TV why not take advantage of their free broadband or dump sky and get your telly free from BT

*free as in minus set-up charges
