The bloody rain...

How long has this rainy season been going on for now? I'm sure it's been going since early May...

Sheesh...

It's nice in Cornwall at the moment. Here's the view from the window as of a minute ago.

I don't live in Cornwall. I'm on holiday to escape the monsoon in India for a few weeks. Apparently it has calmed down a bit over there which is nice as I'm heading back next week. I had been riding back from work in knee deep water last month. Only a month or so more to go before the rain stops for good and the Indian winter starts...

Some lovely looking places there... Would love to go to Cornwall one day, looks amazing on the telly. Got a picture of on my wall that I love, and I think it`s Cornwall (but not sure, lol)... think it is anyway :)

JamesW, so if it rains here, your not gonna notice compared to a monsoon :)

Yep. When it rains in India you know about it. Here's a picture of an oncoming storm as seen from my balcony last month.

Nice picture, nothing as impressive as nature :D Must get some great views when the storms kick off.

Me and some mates used to like going down on the cliffs where we live and watching thunderstorms a few years ago, better than sitting in some pub :D Actually, I miss that :( hehe

P.S. and no Lee I don`t mean we live in cliffs, I`m sure your minds getting sharper again :) (just in case)

The weather up here has been crap this week.

On Tuesday I walked round to a mate's house (literally 2 mins around the corner) and it was torrential rain at my house when I left. Halfway there I could still hear the torrential rain, but it was only behind me, infront it was that fine rain that you can't feel.

Looked up and I was standing under the edge of the cloud. Quite nifty when that happens :-D

Last Sunday we were in Edinburgh Zoo with my family and it was a gorgeous day. A cloud rolled in during the afternoon but it soon disappeared.

But yeah, the rain's been more on than off here.
Oh, no. Every time you turn up something monumental and terrible happens.
I don’t think I have the stomach for it.

My favourite place in Cornwall is Holywell Bay. beautiful beach, with loads of sand dunes, caves, places to go and see.

It's about 5 miles down the coast (westwards) from newquay.

If you wanna know what it looks like, watch the beach scenes from the comedy film "Top Secret!".

Hey, just cheer up! it's only water from the sky. what little annoyance it causes can easily be remedied using a towel.
Aah, you ain't seen nothing. I used to live in the rainiest city in Europe. http://images.google.com/images?client=opera&rls=en&q=bergen%20regn&sourceid=opera&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&um=1&sa=N&tab=wi
