ZXSoftware needs your help

Quick cry for help.

I have just done a massive update on www.zxsoftware.co.uk but for some reason (possibly the fact I am crap at coding web sites) some strange things have been happening.

Everything worked fine on localhost but when I uploaded it, it all went tits up.

I think I have got it all working now but anybody who can spare 5 minutes please head over there and see if you can find anything weird happening.

Don't worry about lack of content its more broken links and wrong links I am looking for. Some pages seem to have been redirecting to the wrong bits of database.

Please post anything you see here as I am working on it now to try and sort some more content out.

    Its very easy to just get carried away and end up playing the games!!

    So far, so good. But a few games aren't playable... It says, 'update coming soon,' so I guess that's normal.

    On the spectrum games I still have a lot of .tap/z80 files to map in the database - that's ongoing work. On the non sinclair stuff I have lost the emulator section because of the legal status of the other emulators let alone other 'rom' files.

    Seems ok to me, spent a few mins clicking around with no probs.

    Hi,

    Took a look (some ZX81 titles there I'm missing ;-) and mostly fine; Index 0-9 shows a blank page, and DK'Tronics does too. Didn't have time to try any other publisher pages tho.

    I tried to do a search using the search feature at the bottom of the page, but it didn't find any games...it just put the search engine at the top of the page....

    I'll try it again later when I get back home and let you know how I get on...

    Index 0-9 should now be fixed
    The Publisher listings should now work correctly.

    C64 listing fixed - Strange nobody pointed this one out :)

    Search is knackered. Because of the massive amount of change in the site it needs rewriting but it wont get done until I get everything else sorted out so I know what and where to actually search :)

    On that point i'm not sure how the search should work.

    Should it search the whole site, all formats as default or should I keep it as just as just a Sinclair search by default?. I could do some sort of drop down so you could select your format or something like that I suppose.

    What would the majority of people find easiest to use?.
