Garth Marenghi's Dark Place Game.

Someone should really make a "Darkplace" Speccy game, as it would tie in perfectly with the show's 80's kitsch appeal.;)

    yes, definitely.

maybe you could have 6 levels, one based on each episode. "Apes Of Wrath" could involve a bike chase, "Skipper The Eye Child" could have a bit where you need to transport the Eye through some rooms without anyone 'seeing' you i.e. a sprite turning in your direction. its a good idea, need someone to program it though. I'd do it if I could program anything but I can't.

    "Flying Saucers? It beggars belief"

And you could play as Rick or Sanchez,Liz ,Thornton, and you could travel about in the cart from level to level(btw I watched "Kingdom hospital", and had to laugh when they too got in cart to go about a haunted hospital) As this is going to be produced by Dean learner, what would Dean call a software house???

well his special FX company in Darkplace is called Deanamatronix...so for a software house how about something like DeanaMASTERTRONICs? sorry best I could think of!

I was thinking Dean might name his software company "SOFT-CORE" as a spelling mistake meant 100,000 copies of the "Garth Marenghi's Dark place" game had the makers name changed from "Soft-Corp" to "Soft-Core", and it was just cheaper(and less admin) to change the stationary! You could even have the slogan "Soft-Core games for Hard-Core gamers!"

Does anyone know how to use an art package to mock up a loading screen, or levels? Thanks.

Somebody interprising enough to create this game, could flog it to the people who made the program as a flash game for a web-site etc.
