Well, you could use araldite - won't change the colour of you hair but it'll stop it falling out - and you'll never need to wear a crash helmet again!

You could use stained varnish too, that'll get rid of the grey. Don't drink it though - it'll kill you. Lovely finish tho :)

Seriously, "just for men" is good stuff, but don't use too much else it'll look false.
    Oh bugger!<br>

I coloured my hair for a while. And pretty much all barbers said to me to use women's hair colour, as the men's coat the hair and actually damage it more in the long term.

Nip down to Superdrug and pick up a women's hair colour product from there.

    LOL Death!!!

Keep shaving it man.... that's what i'm doing for the same reason as you and more....
    Shaving has many advantages,

    1. You don't have to spend money on a barber shop, you can do it yourself.
    2. You don't need shampoo anymore, just a bar of soap is sufficient.
    3. No more time consuming combing.
    4. No more expensive hair gels and dye.
    5. No need to have a hair dryer any more, a face towel will do.
    6. Girls (and some guys) say its more sexy.
    7. You can easily wear a wig on top, just pick any colour, any length you like and you're ready to go.
    8. If you're a motorbike rider, no worries of a messy hair do anymore...

yeah i was thinking that, i used to dye it red and blue (spereate occasions) and i always bought womens hair color, thing was though it wasn't exactly cheap and i imagine they sold it in bigger packets to color a womans long hair, i was wondering wether the mens stuff came it smaller packets for mens hair, if you see what i mean

yeah it looks alright from the front but i have a funny shape head. its really flat at the back and big at the front like a light bulb, so in profile i look like i have a deforminty.

yeah i agree with you there, that pic is very good. but 'in' profile (from the side) i look more like my avatar. its the flatness of the back of my head.

Oh come on, everyone thinks there's something wrong with themselves.
It might be the ears, the nose, the teeth, you name it, but most of the time the problem isn't really there, it's just blown out of proportion in that person's head.

That avatar surely doesn't do you justice :D Just kiding, you're a hunk.

Why are you making such a big deal out of it,
personally i don't see anything funny about your head, shape or other. Each and every one of us is different.

i dont want to be different i want to be normal :p

im not that bothered, but i dont want to shave my hair anymore because of it. a few people have commented on it before now.

now lets focus on my freakisly grey hair.

Just buy an ordinary women's hair dye, as a chemist that's what i recommend.
I think you need a permanent dye, not some shampoo-hair dye that comes off easily.

On women's dyes, the dye's molecules chemicaly bond to the hair's surface and the effect is permanent, the dye doesn't come off.

The colour is better to match your natural one. Don't forget to test the dye on a small part of your skin for allergies before using it on your head.

Actually, in that 3rd photo (the one where you're about to lick the other guy), where your head isn't shaved, you just have short hair, it looks fine. It's when it's curly as in the first two photos it really accentuates the weird shape of your head. So just keep your hair short rather than shaved, and you'll be alright. If it's short enough that the barber uses clippers and not scissors at any point, it'll probably not show the grey.

I knew an old guy who used to dye his hair black to hide the grey, but it sort of came out a very deep purple colour. It looked very strange.

yeah i hadn't noticed that before. i'll have to buy my own clippers to reduce the costs of keeping it short. (get me mum to do it)

Kind of interesting to hear another chap under 30 going grey. I can't really remember when I was young seeing any men of that age greying prematurely, and yet out and about I see quite a lot now. Or maybe it's because I got loads of grey hairs I notice it more on others. Aside from when I was still in my teens and got them - that freaked me out somewhat, I've not really let them bother me a lot. I still spike my hair and waste money on crappy hair products regardless of the grey. It's bloody annoying when you're down the pub and someone shouts out the bleedin' obvious though, 'wow you got grey hairs'.... and even more annoying when the same people forget and say it again and again! It took my own bloody parents about 5 years to finally twig I got them despite living under the same roof. I think I shocked a lady I met from Myspace though with my grey hairs - for some reason in most photos they're not visible. Her initial reaction seemed a bit disappointing. She didn't want to meet again. I got a free meal out of it though so it weren't all that bad. Plus she's a bit fat and keeps hamsters. A bloody adult women with a pet rodent ffs! Sort it out!

I've been tempted to dye my hair often, but seeing as everyone I know already knows I have grey hairs, then it feels a bit daft now bunging on the hair dye. Maybe if I disappear for a few years and return with my jet black dyed hair they'll have forgotten.

Anyway the time to really start getting concerned about grey hairs is when they turn grey elsewhere.....

I'm 28 and I've got a nice "frosting" shall we say, not super noticeable during the day, but any artificial lighting with a bit of oomph! behind it makes me look like I'm starting to get grey wings in the sides of my hair.

    Kinda like a Mafioso :D

I wouldn't worry about it, my wife rips the piss out of me all the time calling me an old man and stuff. But I just laugh at her, or tell her where to go, it's all good fun really.

She didn't like my temporary fix-it, I offered to dye my hair postbox red, I just fancied a change, and I did this about 9 years ago and I thought it looked OK.
Narf' got some grief for it at the time though

Tell you what's done it though it's all the booze, smokes, and drugs, at least I think that's what's done it to me anyway. Although I don't do drugs now, I'm a good boy :D

I've been jet black and platinum blond. My advice is if you're going to colour your hair, go to a salon. If you're going to bleach it, go to a good salon -- scabby head isn't a good look.

Nah! Use B-Blond without the frosting cap that it specifically tells you to use, works good usually you can get anywhere from white blond, to regular blond. The only thing you have to be careful of is not to wash it out too quick or you'll end up a ginge :D

That's probably why my hair is dryer than nuns hoohaa these days :D
