    Most bloody well assuredly. No chance of seeing the match live over here, but I stumbled onto BBC.com with about 5 minutes left and had about seven heart attacks refreshing the page waiting for the final whistle to go.

    Goodness knows what watching it live was like.

    When the ball hit the back of the net from about 30 yards, well, it felt unbelievable. I've had a feeling like that only two or three times before in my life. Scotland are clearly the best footballing nation on Earth.

    I forgot about the match, not that I could watch it anyways, don't have Sky Sports. And I wasn't going to watch the England match.

    Bloody fantastic result though.

    Imagine that, Scotland above France and Italy. I thought we'd drawn one of the worst groups aswell :lol:

    We've still got three really nasty games to finish off with though. Mind you, I think I prefer Ukraine, Georgia and then Italy over the Faroe Islands twice and then Lithuania or something like that. Knowing our ability to trip up over the minnows I'm kind of glad we've got three tough matches instead.

    So I take it Scotland actually won a game for once, I thought I saw a pig fly past the door at work today. I noticed the temperature had dropped a little this afternoon, and when I was coming back to my work area after my lunch break I thought I heard the guy on the radio saying something about Hell freezing over.

    I may have been mistaken though :D

    Yep, not bad,

    Edward II was certainly sent packing and Stirling castle was still standing. Robert the Bruce must have been happy with that anyway.

    Not sure about anything more recent than that though. :)

    It's unbelievable that Scotland have beaten them twice. If you win once, then it can be dismissed as a freak one off, but the French were ready this time, and at home. And they still lost.
    France didn't really have that many clear cut chances, and seemed more interested in painting pretty pictures outside the penalty box. The French are too arrogant, and it weakens them when things don't go to plan, like it does the Dutch and maybe the English.

    BTW, when I say that the French are arrogant, I mean the team, not the actual population of France, and that goes for Holland and England too. Don't want to start generalising about 40 million people!
    Oh, and England proved that they are good enough to qualify with that win. They should make it now, and I still regard tham as more likely to qualify than Scotland.

    They did excellent, was very happy for them. Wouldnt normally be as often Scotland just want to see England lose every game but i'm seriously happy for Scotland. Be great if theyre at the Euro championships, great great win
