Tetris by Doctor Spin single

edited September 2007 in Chit chat
For some reason, I got remembering the 1993/4 single of Tetris by some bloke called Dr Spin.

I remember having a copy at the time but I can't find it now - does anyone have a copy they could send me please? Thanks in advance.

It says here that Dr. Spin is in fact Andrew Lloyd Webber. Can't say I've ever heard that particular song before and I'm not sure I want to. :p

Funny you mention that as it was on tv yesterday as the background to some news article or something else on TV. Forget what it was but it instantly bought back memories.

    You bought it though ?!?!?

This could be it, although it seems a litle short:

I wasn't the one who brought it. That was my stepfather in a moment of madness but seriously, I wouldn't mind having a listen to it again. He also brought the Super Mario Land single..

I think it was just called "The Chart Show", shown on ITV during the time when overlaid computer graphics were cool.

I remember my mate was one of the first kids at school to have a game boy. It was somtime in 1989. I got one the next year after a trip to Tenerife.
I also brought back with me a 54 in one game cartrage.

This was a perticularly good one as it had no repeats. It was common for those cartrages with say 128Games listed on the box to have repeats (the same game called by two or somtimes three different names).

I brought a few of those carts home they made inpresive gifts. The next year I whent back to Tenerefe and I was taking orders from M8's at school. I made myself a nice bit o' spending money that year!! (well nice for a 14 year old in 1991).

    Andrew.

Boy oh boy those cartridges back then were just the best. I remember seeing them in Spain years ago and just had to get one, 128 games in one ! I know they later did 300 games in one type cartridges.
