    I still say Vegas would be a good place....cheap flight and hotel deal, free drinks while gambling, within 500 miles of Santa Ana so Bruno would be ok ;)

    Vegas is quite a hyke from me, I was gonna go there in November to hook up with my best mate from back in Engy-Land but I can't afford it :(

    Shame as well as his second visit to Vegas coincides with my B-Day too :(

    Do you mind if us lowly Canadians crash your US meet? Vegas definitely is the obvious choice. I wouldn't want to get ideas above my station, though... ;)

    @ beanz: I was directed to your comment on one of the YouTube vids... in answer to your question (coz I don't remember my YouTube password at the moment), the person "hittin' on Scottie's wife" is me, tho' I was just boring her with talk of obscure bands - a staple of the drunk-a-bod.

    Besides I don't think it worked, partly on account of my wife sitting next to her ;)

    Ahhh yeah, the wife in the same room situation rarely works.

    Vegas sucks. Wouldn't go to Vegas again if you paid me... Too damn hot, and too damn boring (if you don't gamble, that is).

    I had to go there for two weeks shortly after I arrived in the US... it sucked.

    If my wife hears the word 'Vegas' it will raise a red flag. I would rather go to Houston or Atlanta, but not Vegas. Maybe beanz could do a list of all the people (and canadians :grin: ) who are interested, and based on that list and a map we could figure out the best place for all of us. Maybe it's time to start a new thread. :)

    I vote for Atlanta... pretty much *everything* flies there as it's a, if not the, major air hub.

    You'll prolly do that and work out that the best place for you all to meet would be Oxford :p

    If I were in the US, and I were organizing a meet, it'd be in San Fransisco. It's a beautiful city, and the spouses could get together for making a bit of a vacation of it.
