But since everyone I work with is American I couldn't ask anybody, although one of the fellas I work with did mention Monty Python to me today. "Oh No!" was the first thing that went through my head when I heard him say it.

Did he pronounce it Pie-Thonn? :)

GI Hero by Firebird features a dog (but you can't shoot it).
Also was there a dog in Shadow dancer?

He's 59 years old, and he's rather fragile, I don't think it would've been a good idea. I did however make my best efforts to steer the conversation in a different direction :D

Yeh, if you hold the fire button you can send the dog to maul a baddy giving you the chance to get closer and give them the chop. I think it's quite under-rated because everyone wants it to be Shinobi, but I have it on the Megadrive and think it's rather good fun for what it is.

    Scooby Doo & Scrappy Doo

I liked the game of Scrappy Doo, but it would've been a much better game with 128k sound.

    Okay! Okay!

The "Does anyone know of any commercially released Spectrum games featuring dogs in central roles" quote has been stretched beyond the point of breaking. Okay?

    Okay?

So what if the 'dogs' at the end of level 2 of 'Green Beret' look like sheep!

I ran out of time and modifying them would have meant me duplicating myself to get the game done in time. Sorry. Okay? Leave me alone! And the main Green Beret character animation and the 'swimming' graphics in 'Hyper Sports'! You'd think I'd want them to be so bad!

    GRRRRRR!

You could always release 'The Programmer's Cut' versions now with those graphics improved.
