Yeah i know im gonna get flamed but i just cant work out how to do it!!
I really need to know how u continue a game thats spread over 2 parts...for example im playing The Boggit..and at the end of part one it says save data...Then when i begin part 2 it says 'play saved data'.

How do i go about doing this in the world of emulation?!? Im running Spectaculator, so a simple step by step answer on how to do this on that particular emulator would be great...
Thanks for ur help..

    I *think* this will work:

With the game ready to save...

    1. Press CTRL-K to bring up the tape browser.

    2. Turn off auto-load by clicking on the appropriate icon.

    3. Close the tape browser.

    4. Select FILE->NEW and type in a filename and select a directory to create the new tap file in. Then select audio tap file to create the tap file.

    5. CTRL-K again to open tape browser. Press the red record button.

    6. Get the program to save to tape. This should put data into the new tape file you created.

    7. Load up next part of game (put back the original tap file and position the tape cursor on part 2; we've gone through the bother of creating a separate tap file to hold the game data rather than write it in the original game file so as to not contaminate it).

    8. Select FILE->OPEN to open the tap file you just created. Turning off the auto-load in step 2 will ensure that Spectaculator will not NEW and try to RUN something from this file. It also means you will probably have to LOAD"" to get the next part of the game to run in step 7.

    9. Tell the game to load data from tape and you may have to press the PLAY button on the tape browser to get the data to load.
