    Good find.

You can get them in the UK 30 notes for 10, not bad considering the display, ??

Maybe not such a good idea in California right now...

Me and my friends used to make them out of coat hangers, bin bags, a pie tray and crushed up firelighters. They didn't have the fireworks in em' but on a cold night they'd fly for miles. However we stopped making them due to paranoia that a serious fire would occur because of them.

My dad used to make hot-air balloons out of tissue paper, with a wire ring around the base, and a basket made from a tin foil pie tub. We'd soak a rag in meths and pop it in the basket, light her up and away she'd go. We made loads of em, some quite big that they'd get mistaken for the full-sized thing. We had, one with the Visitors symbol from the SCIFI series, V, lots of multicoloured ones, and one with a swastika (It vaz ze German seekrit vepponz ballon.) One of them nearly burnt down a nearby nursing home though, when it landed on their roof. :S

Brilliant fun, albeit a tad dangerous. Remember one of them tipping up and spilling burning meths on my shoes, and one of them exploding as we released it. hehe. Great days. :)
