While newly created accounts immediately get listed at the bottom of the forum index, they aren't necessarily active yet. The ones you saw all appeared in my account moderation window for approval (no they didn't get it).
There are 8 or so new spam accounts being created per day and it's ridiculously easy to spot, so there's hardly any fun detective work needed. :-(
And those are the ones that actually come through - loads of other attempts are done, all of which get stopped dead by the captcha.
Bah, spammers suck.
I suppose it does get kind of boring when they all have names like Nude_Bikerchick, and Viagra4cheap. :lol:
Best one I ever got managed to get through my spamguard on my e-mail just cos' it barely resembled words anymore. It was something like K1nG P3N1S, and apparently I was able to recieve a free trial of generic blue pills just by clicking on this e-mail right now!
Needless to say it got deleted imediately :D
Still though as ranted before by me, if I wanted this type of crap I'd look for it myself :mad:
