Stunning architecture

take a look at some of these.

Take particular note of the Burj Dubai skyscraper, when complete it will be the tallest building in the world by over 300m.

Jesus. That last one is scary. I mean, I know I sound like some kind of luddite yokel and all that, but what if it falls over?
Oh, and the first one is the ugliest thing I've ever seen. In fact, the first two are probably going to make Chicago the ugliest skyline in the world.

I always imagined that once the year 2000 arrived, every city would transform overnight to being full of buildings like these with the spaces in between full with flying cars, like in a sci-fi film. I was bitterly disappointed when it didn't happen. :(

They're all an eyesore, and probably destined to ruin a few cities around the world.

The second one looks like a dildo, and the rest look like they'd fall over, if they had a little bit of wind against them.

Obviously they've been designed not to do that but they don't look very well thought out at all (even if they are).

Dont think they look an eyesore, look very impressive all of those. Sure some people slated some of the buildings in London when they were first erected (dont do your Beavis laugh Miles).

Oh, I really liked the first one..Aqua.

The rest are just monstrous carbuncles to my mind.
I stole it off a space ship.

Hmmmm a building made by Rubix.

What next? An infuriating puzzle made by Wimpey Homes?

out of those i liked the chigaco spire and the burj dubai. Incidentally they are planning an even taller tower in dubai that will be 1200ft!

There's tall, and then there's just plain unsafe.

What happens if there's a serious fire - can everyone get out in time?

    1200ft? You mean 1050m. 1200ft is 360m.
