I am really and truly sorry about your loss.

Having a few furballs myself I know how much the little rascals mean as companions.

    My condolences.

    Bollocks :-(

Losing a cat is bad at any time, but just before christmas is a real bugger.
Oh, no. Every time you turn up something monumental and terrible happens.
I don’t think I have the stomach for it.

Aw, poor mog. Am very sorry to here that. That's awful. Shame you can't run down the villians that did it. I'll drink a toast to your feline buddy, and wish him well on his way to a nicer place.

I know how you are fealing, My cat disapeared 2 months ago, never to come back again (it's been quite the shock here at our house).

but personally, in terms of scenario, In a way it's beter to know the cat is dead than to wonder every day what happen to him...

in any case it's an awfull thing and if you need a hand to beat the crap out of the driver I just might fly over there!

Sorry to hear about that. Our cat still hasn't returned after legging it when we moved house over a fortnight ago. I reckon he's still alive and as long as he's being looked after than that's fine with me.

Perhaps you could sneak out to the animal shelter over the xmas period, and come back with a healthy kitten/young cat? I bet she'd be chuffed to bits if you did that.

I dunno.. that can be risky. I'd talk to the wife first. And fer chrissakes if you do that, adopt an adult cat... Too many adults get euthanized cos everybody wants the kittens.

(I only adopt adult cats these days. But then, I'm a cat freak.)

Not really a lot of point in stopping for a squashed cat. Well, at least you have a xmas gift idea now, a new kitten.

You could wrap them round the tyres, to use as a "snow chain":)

One of my cats is now pushing up the daisies (well, pushing up a mallow and a small cypress) after being run down by a car, he was only six months old... wasn't any fun at all to come back home and find a note from a neighbour saying 'we found your cat dead in the road this evening' :/
