The Lost Boys

edited January 2008 in Chit chat
Wow! I was just looking at an Atari ST group on Facebook when I discovered a profile page for Manikin (aka Tim Moss) of legendary ST demo coders The Lost Boys. Apparently he works for Sony now. I just sent him a message and hopefully he'll reply. 8)

They made some of the best demos on the ST.

You're joking! Sounds cool, let us know what he's got to say (BTW didn't know his real name (or if I did then that's long forgotten)).

He replied last night. Says he's amazed that people still remember him from back then. :)

    classic film

I never liked that film. Everytime I hear it mentioned it's always about how good it is.

I think it took me 3 attempts to watch it to the end without falling asleep :-P
Oh, no. Every time you turn up something monumental and terrible happens.
I don’t think I have the stomach for it.

I'm sad to admit i bought the soundtrack for that ! Really liked some of those songs, when i hear them again it sooooo takes me back to the early early 90's.

Also loved the Beverly Hills Cop soundtrack

Soundtrack was cool, movie was ass...typical 80s 'look at me I'm cool' teen crap (course I liked it back then when I was a 'look at me I'm cool teen).

Yep i really loved that song. God hearing that takes me back instantly to about 1988. Had the song on repeat on my walkman when i was at college, walking back home

Some terrible mullets though from those vampires !

Without sounding 'gay' the other song from that film, where theres this big muscle bloke singing it was superb

    Edit - Just found it...

I thought The Lost Boys was a terrible film! A proper teen film is The Breakfast Club - now that is quality!

Although I do love The Sure Thing too. A classic funny film!
