Yes afraid I cant vote as all those 80s teen movies blow. If I reallllly had to pick one of the 80s brat movies it would probably be St Elmo's fire.

Not only have I not seen these two films; I've never actually even heard of them! I would have been too young to have been allowed to watch them when they first came out, anyway...

Never saw The Breakfast Club (not even once) so The Lost Boys gets my vote by default. Great movie though, so that's okay. :)

Only good thing about the breakfast club:

Don't You (Forget About Me) - Simple Minds

    Worst bit:

Every scene with Molly Ringwald especially the stupid dancing, in fact apart from the music track above and cocaine nostrils the film has no redeeming features.

Pretty in pink has 5 redeeming features, they are all songs on the soundtrack other than these it has nothing going for it.

Perhaps it's Molly, can't stand her.

Absolute tripe. insert puking smilie here.

I thought she was great in The Stand. Haven't seen her in anything else though.

Lost Boys is great, altough I thought the vampires were uber-cool, and rather wanted to be one of them. These days, I rather think those wee scrambler bikes are a bit pants, but back then, I could only dream of fixing up my 23rd hand moped in time for my 16th birthday.

The other one, a film about detention at school, on a Saturday? Screw that shit, they had a hard enough job getting me not to disappear after registration.

    can i say wargames?

    oh alright...lost boys
never seen breakfast club tbh, never appealed to me

Ferris Bueller's day off. Another over rated item of anally produced drivel.

Lost Boys for me, great cheese rock soundtrack

I liked both of these films when I was a kid but now I look back I find them both to be pretty cheesy.

The thing that gets me the most with The Breakfast Club is all the jumping around and dancing and punching the air after they all smoke a massive bag of weed. Why aren't they all just lying around with bloodshot eyes saying things like "Man I REALLY want a cheesburger"?

and how come the principal doesn't smell it?

I liked wargames, altough how many people had walkmans with record functions on them back then, not many.

I also like Ferris Buellers Day off, altough I did not see that until after I had left school

true true, its like they have taken a bunch of e's.

also if that judd nelson chracter was such an out of control rebel, how come he turned up to the detention in the first place.

it'd have been a different film altogether if that teacher had been bothered to sit and supervise them in the first place.

so my vote went for the lost boys as it had important lessons on how to fight vampires.

The ugly bloke who plays the other one in Bill and Ted, with that crazy mullet he has in the Lost Boys he looks even worse.

Some great 80's mullets in that film !
