Wow! GREAT game, certainly! :) One of my first games for PC... with superb EGA graphics, and a playability comparable to World Series Basketball (Another of my favourites for the speccy)
APS' The Valley had a "Black Tower of Zaexon" which I usually referred to as the "Black Tower of Zaxxon" (or sometimes as the "Black Tower of ZX81"). :)

Oooh! I used to play that boardgame quite a while back.
It's not fun! It's just a pure test of luck. There is the very, very occasional tactic of bumping your opponent (fnar!) but 99.9% of the time it's just rolling dice and blind luck.
