Prohibition has an ending??? or loops?

edited February 2008 in Games
I have been playing Prohibition lately and I want to complete the game, but I have reached level 3 and the action is always the same, so I tried the rzx archive and saw that the rzx ends in the 4th level, but it seems the game continued, so I now have the doubt about if the game has a proper ending.

Cheers

I haven't played this game in aeons but are you saying that this map is incomplete or just the first level?

I'm not going to bother with playing it again but seeing as you're playing it I thought I'd ask you if there is more to the map than just the section of map included here at WoS.

What you can see is the whole city, there is nothing more.

OK, I guess that means I never finished it way back when. I thought there was more but was wrong.

That means the game has an ending an a message saying "Congratulations" or something similar??

I have been taking a look at the rzx and that message never appears, so it may be possible that the rzx file is not complete, I mean, the guy who played didnt do it until the end (I have seen that in some other games in the rzx archive too).

    Cheers!

It looks, it was me, who made the recording. I believe the games loops forever. You play in a limited area. You start at the left side. At the beginning enemies appear also at the left part of map, but when you play longer the action moves towards right side of map. At some moment they appear at the rightmost side of map. After killing this enemy wave, you are moved again to the left side of the same map and they appear again at the left. I stopped playing then and allowed to be killed.

The game is different from arcade version which had an ending and many maps.

Somebody skilled at assembler could look at the code and check if it really loops forever as it seemed to me.

There is no way you are not famous, you must have submitted more than 100 games completed in the rzx archive!!! :o
