Actually, it was more of a "why does anyone do anything?" post. ;) Except that I was only slightly drunk -- well, tipsy really. :)

The "eschew obfuscation" gag long predates HP.

I'm generally quite tolerant of the crap that many people post on these forums, but creationism does annoy me. Arguing against evolution is just like arguing that the Earth is flat - just blindly ignoring the patently obvious. Like Cornishdavey would, in fact.

Lockett, are you American by any chance?

You'd think that Jesus living in an age with poor medicine and lots of sick people, that his work would be noticed enough for at least some of his doings to be recorded and written about?
Its strange that only about 50 years AFTER his death, did someone begin to write about him.
Surely, someone that great, there would be more attention on him AT THE TIME they were happening.

It's also strange that only about 3 years AFTER the death of this thread, did someone begin to write in it again.

I was searching for "Gray Matter" (the game) and noticed the thread, I didn't notice the dates.

Being slow, dosen't mean being wrong........much like truth :)

historians proved to be deaf-mute. nobody heard or talked about jesus at the time. different theories about why jesus didn't give them speech and hearing.

"He says that Muslims could choose to have marital disputes or financial matters dealt with in a Sharia court."

Being that under Sharia law the women really doesn't have much of a say....that's not protecting the woman very well if the husband says 'we are going to use Sharia Court.

The point is for everyone to get a fair hearing, the woman/women will not in a Sharia Court.
