Please tell me what this is #millions
Howdy,
It's a breakout clone, I'm pretty sure it came on a tape that came with my 48k or +, but it's definitely not Thro' The Wall.
It was basically Breakout but without lives, instead you had about 8 or 10 blue windows behind your bat and when the ball hit one it would break and disappear, so they represented your lives.
If the ball hit the back of the screen behind your bat, you wouldn't die, the ball would just come back again, so the only way you could lose was for all your windows to get broken.
I also remember it had a rather entertaining feature where if you managed to get the ball up the side of the wall at an angle, it would go across the bricks and eat quite a few at once in a diagonal bounce motion.
Has anyone got any idea what this game is called?
Ta! :D

It's also on the
ZX Spectrum+ User Guide Companion Cassette
Thats the one. Loved Maze Chase back then as well which was also on that intro tape.
And psj3809: Maze Chase was always nice when combined with UDG Designer :)
I do think Thro' the Wall is quite good. :) (When you think about it being only BASIC!)
