My avatar contains a lot of meaning for me and towards you. It's everything and nothing at the same time. It's the pull and the push. It's the here and the there. What it actually is remains up to you to figure out and/or decide. My meaning will always be different than yours and conversely your understanding of my avatar will always be right up until the point you change your mind, then it will become more correct.
its a self portrait of me drawn by some other guy whos never seen me he lives in new zealand and is called quogmyre saying that the self portrait of me drawn by someone ive never met is quite a striking resemblance which is why i use it everywhere i can yes i know i said self portrait and yes i know ive removed all the punctuation itsa philisophical statement related to my avatar stream of conciousness stuff and as such all spelling mistakes are deliberate did i say it was a self portrait drawn for me by someone else that may be blind i wouldnt know as ive never met him good innit

Unfortunately, WOS doesn't allow avatars that size (Boo!). WOS also doesn't allow linked images in posts, too - though I fail to see the reason why. 56k users can opt not to see them.
Mine represents my first proper Speccy Xmas when I knew what was happening in the market. The run-up to Xmas '87 was my first true taste of the pre-Xmas hype.
Plus I still love the full-sized sit-in arcade version of OutRun.
Err... no story or meaning behind mine. It's just that Wild Bunch happens to be one of my favourite Speccy games.
While we're on the subject of avatars though, why is it that I can't see avatars when I use WOS from home, but I can see them when I'm WOSsing at work (tsk tsk)?

The deeper meaning of this is I have a fixation with beans, in particular a niche area of pornography involving bathtubs filled with beans and dwarfs. It also indicates the deep feelings that Scotty_UK has for me and his need to satiate my lust for beans by creating the avatar for me.

unfortunately due to the resizing a lot of the comedy was lost.
I just can't be arsed to, or in fact have not yet found a better one to replace it.
