#dope for guns
Professional Mel-the-Bell Simulator................"So realistic, I found myself reaching for the Kleenex King-Size!" - Richard Darling
Yorkshire Coast Radio is like that. They only seem to have about 2 dozen cd's and just stick them on repeat. Don't even get me started on their "punk rock" show. It's great if you like The Who and Morrisey
There's a station up here called Radio Clyde 2 which i used to listen to but stopped because of their obsession with playing 70's disco songs constantly, which i hate. Every time it was on it something like the Bee Gees or Shalamar.
I remember when they had that Danny fella from Cradle of filth on Never mind the buzzcocks, they ripped the piss out of him so much I thought he was gonna cry.
Hardly the shock rocker he makes out he is on the videos, he sounds posh too :D
As you can tell I don't rate "The Cradle" too much, but their version of stay has to be better than the original, it can't possibly be any worse.
I've met DanI a few times and he's quite a nice person. As with all "image" bands, almost everything that you see publically is put on. He's also tiny. I'm not a very tall person myself, but he only just makes it past my sholder height!
Got four new albums today and I've been listening to them all evening.
Divine Madness - Madness
David Gilmour - David Gilmour
Hearts And Handshakes - Toni Halliday
Strange Behaviour (Live) - Karnataka
The latter two were found in my local Oxfam, which was a real surprise since they're not the sort of thing you'd expect to find in Kilkenny. Neither are exactly famous.
I haven't actually heard Q2K so can't draw a fair comparison, but I quite liked Promised Land. Of the other Queensryche albums I've heard (not many), Empire ranks among my favourites - some very memorable songs in there!
Necros, incidentally, Karnataka is also the name of a state in southern India!

Don't bother buying it, it's only marginally better than their 'Take Cover' album.
Dark side of the moon - pink floyd
One of the greatest albums of all time - no contest!
I won't argue with that. Also as a side note, one of my best friends is Roger Waters' sound man. Roger won't work with anyone other than him. I still havn't been able to get any tickets though :(

Necros.
Toni Halliday - ex Curve?? Jangley, shoe-gazey guitars ahoy then?!
The wifes gone out shopping with her mother today so the TV will muted whilst showing the football and I'll be spinning some vinyl.
Hmm, I fancy a bit of Dokken - Beast From The East, Accept - Balls To The Wall and for some bizarre reason my eye is drawn to Frankie Goes To Hollywood - Welcome To The Pleasuredome :-?. I might just satisfy that craving by playing the Two Tribes 12".
Ooh I've just spotted Tesla - The Great Radio Controversy, that'll definitely be finding it's way to the turntable...

I brought the whiskey, he brought the light" - Gaelic Storm
(not quite sure what the actual name of the song is though, I just like that line.)
