Can someone remember this game for me?

edited February 2008 in Games
Me and my now dead brother used to love it when I was really young(think arounf 5 or 6) it was one of the games included with the Spectrum like Oh Mummy I think.

It involved jumping platforms to the right of the screen and if you fell a small face appeared and said something like "ha ha ha ha muchimies muchimes"

It's definately not Stonkers (sorry everyone, but I had to - it's the first and last time I'll say it)!!

Sounds like Punchy, although I don't remember the face....just the awful speech.

Like I've said before I know it was supposed to be saying "rock the baby", but it sounded like it was telling you to do something you'd go to prison for, for a very long time :D

Looks like it, I downloaded it and put it on demo mode and it'd definatly a game I played.

Theres another game now, its a game where you had a ship, but cant remember if its a pirate game. You sail around then if I remember right go to towns and can buy supplies.

If you can get attacked in towns I cant remember and I know theres loads of games like this.

I remember getting it on a gaming magazines cover tape(YS or SU)

    Tai-Pan?

Although I don't think that was ever given away on a covertape?

Sounds like Taipan to me also and yes it was given away on a tape coz I had it. Probably came on SU as I had mostly those and a few YSs.
If it includes the persuasive technique of smacking people over the head to make them join you, it was Taipan :)
