In a browser!!!!!
I've just been playing this against a few bots:
http://www2.rasterwerks.com/
In an IE browser window!!! I can't believe it!!! So smooth on my PC, like I was playing it as a normal Windoze game. It was like a cut-down version of Unreal Tournament.
If this is just the future of the purely-downloaded game then bring it on!!!!

'Unreal' here I come!
EDIT - really cool!
We used to have daily 'Unreal' on-line fights between Manchester, South Wales and Bristol!
My memory is p*ssing on me - but it was the Team 59 server! This was hosted by a company in Bristol that did stuff for Aardman Animations. The guy that run it saw Chris Searle's (a tall man that was on a UK consumer program called "That's Life") knob in the bog and it was big! Back to Grommit - Nick Park et al. (Ooph! More of this later! I was nearly, erm, changed my mind, erm, and stuff, erm! Don't ask!)
That's the original Unreal Tournament - and we had extra maps and stuff! God that was ace! There is probably still a few servers up and running the old stuff - I'll have to go and have a big bad fight!
One of the younger bods at work brought it to my attention as IU'd been mentioning how good Unreal Tournament (98?) was (how shite have all the subsequent games been). Apparently you can play this thing multiplayer too.
Just pressed ESC and clicked NETWORK ... who is up for a quickie?
Nice!
