Vriting +D discs

Does anybody here knows of a way to write +D discs
on a PC? Like, some utility to put .sna on +D discs,
or something like that...

Thanks in advance.

    Hi Alessandro,
Have look at WOS? archive under Tools/PC.
Amongst others you can try specutil.zip

Realspectrum and X128 support real +D disks in the PC's floppy drive, but your floppy controller might not be up to it - the newer ones can't read/write the +D disks. See the emulator's docs for details on how to load the +D rom etc.

Trouble is (well, not really trouble) I'm a Linux user
unequipped with Windows... I saw a nice nice little
program for linux which allowed read/write to QL discs; I
was hoping to find something like that for +D as well.

Still, I can give a try at the emulators you mentioned
within a vmware machine, but if there are HW issues
that's going to be a problem. Thank you very much
anyway, and I apologize for the misspelling in the subject.

    Hi,

Does anyone know how to format a 3,5inch DSDD disk in a -HD- diskdrive connected to a Plus D?? I'm trying to convert some old 5,1/4 inch disk to 3,5 disk, but i keep getting sector errors when formatting a disk.

    Thanks!

@rjbouw: cover the HD index hole with something, if it still does not work, your drive is fault.
