If I was in the U.K. I would ask politely if one of the brothers would give me an interview. They seem to be into cars now. Tim may be working at Carbotech Europe offering brake and clutch services, and Chris might be this car addicit which can be found in many forums about BMI racing and car mods.
Oh well, maybe we have to keep the legend alive and leave them alone. Some people don't like to be bothered after they leave their computer past behind. If this was typed by one of them, I doubt we'll ever see a single sprite of that game. The sentence "Some people are just mental" doesn't seem like a nice thing to say to Ultimate fans.
It looks really good I think, both as a good faked screen and also if it should be a real game!
How did you make it? Is it your own graphics or is it combined from other games?
I borrowed the sabreman (heavily edited from knightore to give him a rope, a backpack and a miner's helmet), the life icon (and text) and the border design.
Oh, and the diamond.

Looks good. Hadn't thought of faking it isometric because it was said to be Sabre Wulf style. Your floor reminds me a lot of the swamp from Where Time Stood Still.
