Sir Clive & Poker
Just finished watching Sir Clive win the final of the Celebrity Poker program on Challenge TV, CONGRATULATIONS SIR CLIVE!!
He won ?25,000 for his efforts and said that he will blow a fair chunk of that playing poker, and the rest he will waste! What a guy.

here's some suggestions...
A Brucie Forsyth style "syrup"
A Commodore 64 (eek...)
Alloy wheels and Sattelite Navigation for a C5
I'm sure he was one of the players who would just fold 90% of the time and then only play if he had a decent hand ( thus giving the game away somewhat).

Any idea what year it was?
I don’t think I have the stomach for it.

They repeat the shows that often, that he's bound to appear at least twice a day ;)
Do you think Clive reads this forum?
I hope not, due to the wig joke I made earlier, but it would be nice to think that he would read all of the stuff we post on here and think quietly to himself "I'm to blame"

Doh!
Here's a good reason against people always telling you to search previous posts before posting.
I'd completely forgotten about this thread but remember posting about how relatively bobbins our Sir Clive was and then saw his Celebrity Poker heat recently on 'Challenge'.
I decided to post but thought I'd scan through the posts first as I knew there'd been a couple about Sir Clive and poker and was reminded that he won the tournament thus spoiling the final for me (yes my memory is bad enough that I'd forgotten this).
And after my earlier posts I'd like to apologise to Sir Cliff and admit his poker prowess far surpasses my own (and still watched the final tonight).
Man I love poker.
To compensate for this egregious lack of decorum on behalf of previous posters would somebody like to write a Texas Hold 'Em game (with suitable bluffing AI of course) for the Speccy ?
Texas Dave
