I take it that Jin is alive and on the island, that's why the gravestone has the date of the plane crash.
Good thinking.
Spoiler:
I've read on another forum that Sun's dad would kill Jin if he went back to Korea so it'd make sense that Jin would stay, but I can't see Sun leaving without him unless she was forced to. I'd have to re-watch the episode where Sun and Jin decide to leave and board 815 to check about the killing bit.
Spoiler:
And I don't think it was ever stated that the funeral Jack attended was that of one of the 6.
Spoiler:
No it wasn't. All we know is that it was someone that both Jack and Kate knew. That's all the personal info we get. There's a glimpse of the obituary when Jack's holding it while driving to the funeral but iirc there's nothing really you can make out on it.
The funeral could be of someone who was on the island, but not one of the 815 passengers.
You never know it could be the woman who Jack's just fallen in love with. But the way that Jack and Kate spoke in the flashforward Kate would've had to change her mind about her.
Or it could even be Desmond.
Oh, no. Every time you turn up something monumental and terrible happens.
I don’t think I have the stomach for it.

I think the next one's a doubler to end the season.

I've actually preferred this condensed season because of the writers strike, quite a lot has happened in each episode.
Huge 'flash forwards' in episode 12
No doubt another huge cliff hanger at the end of the final episode, have quite enjoyed this season though, just felt past series have been far too stretched out.
Still a bit confused by a fair chunk i must admit !
Now we know who the last member of the "Oceanic 6" is - it's Claire's baby (Aaron IIRC). However, they're pretending it's Kate's baby.
Next week's is the season finale, don't know if it's a double ep or not.
But we knew that from a few weeks ago anyway in the flash forwards.

Spoiler:
We didn't know that the baby, the last of the Oceanic 6, was Aaron. The flash forward a few weeks back where Kate had a baby could have been her own baby, as she may be pregnant with Sawyer. We didn't know the exact time of the flash forward, so it could have been done to think it was her own baby. I never thought that the baby from a few weeks ago was Aaron.

Spoiler:
For some reason I always thought it was Aaron so I wasn't surprised to see Aaron as one of the 6 in this weeks episode. I'll have to watch that one from a few weeks ago again to see if I saw something that'd make me think that, but I never thought that it wasn't Aaron.

Spoiler:
At the end of one of the episodes Kate refers to the baby as Aaron so unless she named her kid after Aaron (unlikely) then we could pretty much take it as gospel that the baby was Claire's Aaron. I'm more interested in how Locke's going to "move the island". I've got a feeling that it's going to be moved around in time rather than in a physical sense.
I am the kind of person who needs single-legged pants in the early morning, that's how confused I am. Seeing as I am not female I will not be wearing skirts ... so I just have to continue to be lost out in the wilderness.
So who were those people who kidnapped Kate etc ? I'm confused ! I thought The Others were Bens lot - all of whom disappeared, so who are these new lot ?

Spoiler:
It's Ben's lot, they had been previously covered in disappearing ink ... it rained afterwards and they re-appeared. They were rather miffed at Kate's people who pranked them.
Ha ha very good but sadly with the way Lost is sometimes i can quite believe that ! The whole Jacob thing is winding me up ! Hope this greenhouse is something decent as well. When does it come back, January again ? Hope its not too long a wait
How many of the Lost cast does it take to change a light bulb?
One, but it will take 20 episodes.
Ha ha very good and sadly very true. Thats why i've liked these more condensed episodes, a lot more seems to happen rather than the usual 'lets make the first few episodes of the new series really good, then crap in the middle and then have some good end episodes to keep out fans'
Hmmm just seen it, some bits were very good, and explained a fair bit. Still confused by a lot of the story though ! The 'professor' bloke with the beard who came with the ginger girl, what was his story as i thought he might have been 'evil' ? Also why didnt Sun shoot Jim Robinson when she saw him in London ? Nice to have a long episode but still as always so many unanswered questions
At least we now know who's funeral it was that Jack went to and that Jin does actually die rather than choose to remain on the island. Was hoping for a few more answers than we were given though. Isn't the next series supposed to be the last?
There's meant to be 6 seasons in total. The last three seasons were each meant to be 16 eps long, but season 4 (just finished) was truncated to 14 because of the strike.
There might be 17 eps in the next two seasons.
And yes this was a quality episode.
Spoiler:
I liked how Jin was killed aswell. It does give a lot of meaning to his gravestone. Although I wouldn't be surprised if we do see him again like Charlie and (sort-of) Mr Eko. Speaking of Hurley, did Sayid say where they were meant to be going?
It'll be interesting to see how Bentham died though. Apparently in the episode it was meant to be suicide?
I wonder how Locke will act as the new leader in place of Ben. How's he going to learn all the tricks that Ben knows?

The final episode of season four has just finished being screened on terrestrial tv over here. What a corker! This has consistently been the best program aired for a long time :)
Hmmm think it was okay, as normal it creates so many questions and i think like others who have dropped off the Lost bandwagon i'm just as confused as ever !
I'm glad there was a writers strike as it seemed much more happened in all the episodes rather than being drawn out.
I do like Lost, think it could have been an absolute classic but way too many times it just seems to be made up as they go along (sometimes)
