edited May 2008 in Sinclair Miscellaneous
Hi,
where can I find a complete collection of Zx80 snapshots, in .O format?

Thanks in advance
Cheers

    Wherever you make it.

I saw it last year, but can't recall the url.

On a side note, there's a new English forum for ZX80 and ZX81 users. It will soon be flooded with software and hardware info, topics, etc.

Let me see if I can find the url to the ZX80 snapshot archive. If I can find it I will post it here soon, and if I can't I'll see if I have a copy of those snapshots.

Well, there's the following site (which is linked to from the ResiDOS site, in the ZX80 emulator section):

I don't know if it's the one you're thinking of, but it has got quite a number of snapshots.

Here's another one. It's not a great addition, but it was really hard to find!

It would be nice to see the ZX80 Learning Lab tapes preserved. I have the ZX81 Learning Lab myself and plan to TZX them, but I want to ask for permission first. I located the author last week and when I contact him I'll ask about the ZX80 tapes too.

Cool - I've got the zx81 learning lab too, but missing a couple of tapes.

Actually, now I think about it I did find them TZX'd somewhere recently .....

I have the ZX81 learning lab .TZX'd on my site.

I'm in the middle of an update adding around 50 more tapes to the archive - lots of scanning still to be done.

Most exciting additions in the coming update include an unreleased adventure game from Fawkes computing, supplied by the author, and a Software Farm game, Bouncing Bert, which I can't find any mention of anywhere. The kind bloke who submitted it to me documented his find here:

    Excellent!
Simon, if you have a chance please visit the new ZX81 forum and share with them your ideas about ZX80/81 software preservation.
