Absolutely seconded, I can't believe I didn't think of these 2 games. Especially since me and my friends used to compare some of our in game mischief with stuff we really got up to.
Occasionally we'd rename all the characters to fit our teachers and stuff, one extremely fun and novel thing to add to any game based on some form of real thing.
I think I would like to be in Target Renegade, spend all day kicking in punks, bestie boys and blokes in crash helmets. would make a great strees reliever, especially if I could bring along my own choc ice on a cocktail stick.
Also I think it would be a laugh to have a stroll around in Contact Sam Cruise -'Oh look there goes another bloke in a fake beard' How handy would it be to have all that money blowing down the street!
It'd be pretty cool to be in How To Be A Complete Bastard; gatecrashing someone's party, being a drunken pain the backside.... Erm, hang on a minute... I do that already!! :-D
I talking about the game Spy vs Spy that came out on the Spectrum over 20 years ago not the magazine.
FGTH. Just to complete it then to enter the Pleasure Dome.
I always (still do) wanted to get onto the walkway on The Great Escape, the high up bit next to the gates, and sneak around.
Also renegade, wanted to be at train station level before the train pulls up and hang around, hopefully before your lass get's kidnapped and give her a jolly good rodger(the rabbit video) and go back to hers and watch it and erm stuff.
