No not the chick from Adrian Mole...

Anyone thinking of getting one of these, look nice. I believe they come out in June/July. Might have to replace my GP2X with one.

I remember someone mentioning this here before ... what OS(es) will it support?

I'm getting one, need to save up though. I believe they're gonna slightly put back the release date now, something about the beagleboards and discovering something about the wifi that needs fixed/updated?

The only thing that held back the GP2X for me was lack of keyboard, Pandora's gonna be sweet :)

edit... I'm profoundly in love with Pandora :D

Ships with Linux I believe...I'm guessing you will be able to get windows on it somehow being open source.

Nah, it's running an ARM processor and windows doesn't run there.

It's an ARM processor so no windows, but will be better at DosBox than the 2X.

beat me to it Sparkes ;)

what those emulator thingies, for windows etc, would be good if you could get it up in a virtual machine or summit, even if slow.

Hmm, still think it looks ugly like anything. But if it runs a ton of games i wont be that bothered.

I'll probably wait till theres a fair bit of stuff out there for it and it gets established. I made a mistake and bought a GP2X out of the first batch, that was a complete waste for about 5 months until decent emulators worked well and it had a few patches to get it working properly.

Very ambitious and i hope it does well for them though

Really hope this baby makes the production line.
True, its not the best-looking lady on the block, but its should be well worth the asking price if it does indeed come in at under two hundred pounds.

Proper Playstation One emulation is promised and it will be able to handle the Amiga with ease. These are the main criteria for me lol.

Since its the unofficial big-brother of the GP2X we can expect emulation covering a multitude of past machines, in theory anything and everything up to an N64.

    Fingers crossed!

Yeah just waiting to see a 'real one' instead of a 3d mocked up one.

On paper they do look very good, like you say N64/Playstation I should be possible. Hope GBA will run smoothly as well.

    :)

That's a MK0 Pandora though, apparently the screen half will be a LOT thinner, cos it looks huge on those vids. Oh, and it's the USB host that might cause a release delay, not wifi as I previously stated.

    Full speed AGA Amiga ftw

Can't wait to get me hands on one tbh.

Loved my 2x's to bit's and the the keyboard will make it much better.

The TV-Out should be great. Used to use my GP2X on the TV but for some reason one tv always comes out black and white, the other ones fine. Still a great little gadget but i hope this Pandora is the business.

Again i'll wait till a lot of emulators are released till i get one
