Oh god, I can't believe I bothered to loop Bruce Lee over 15 times just to get top score! My back is killing me now from sitting in front of the PC - and that includes several breaks on quiet screens!

Still, it moves me to 4th place on the world champions board! :D:D:D:D:D

...and I really can't be arsed to sit through hours of Bruce Lee again to get the top score back

I think I only went round about 12 times (tbh though I lost count), and my hand was seized up like a claw, maybe if I'm feeling brave I'll try and get it back tonight, since I'm off work.

I had one go of that and gave up, just didn't seem right somehow?

Used to be quite good at it, when I was about 10 years old

Me too... had a go of it the other day, noticed how quickly my health was disappearing, and called it a day!! (That's while still on the first level, mind.) :D

There should be email alerts when your position changes on the leaderboard...

    It's vile.

You just know he pulled that face and slavered a lot during his Brucey epic.

I've just tried a Brucey epic... Got halfway through my 7th go and gave up. How does Starglider do it?

Nah, it's a lot more simple than that. There were plenty of opportunities to rest for a few minutes at a time, have a drink, go for a piss, have a wank, you know... the usual.

BTW I think I asked this somewhere here before but can you guys help me out with something ... are those bugs or electric sparks in later rooms in Bruce Lee?

I just had a go at that too, forgot how good that game is. Bit rusty at it nowadays though, need to get some practice in.

On the green-floor-things? I always thought they were sparks.

Yeah, same here! I just read on the myspeccy site that they were bugs ... and I thought I had it wrong all these years. Was just wondering if it said anything about bugs in the instructions/inlay/etc? (i.e. meaning my copy was ... erm ... not original ... actually that's not true, I had/have an original tape minus everything else that came with it :-( )

Hmmm, just read the same ... I am going to believe it's a miscommunication between authors of game and manual

So ... electric sparks they are!

No way! I always thought they were sparks running along an electrified grid or sommat. It's gonna be a long time before I believe it's meant to be BUGS!

Would this be similar to the same miscommunication that resulted in the game being ridiculously easy between the programmers and the game designers?

Or similar to the miscommunication between the designers and programmers when they decided to allow Yamo as a co-op/mp character :D

Or similar to the miscommunication between the designers and programmers when they decided that Bruce Lee was black.

Just had a go of Trap Door... I can't put the frying pan on the fire!! How annoying!!

An intense weekend in terms of gaming I must say.

I do think third position is (and probably will be) the furthest I can reach. A downright shame that Match Point doesn't include a true countable score...

Well, as long as I can keep enjoying my #1 on Bomberman I'll be happy enough. ;)

I'm still wanting to get 1st on Humphrey, amazingly enjoyable game with great levels.

Yup, I've been having problems with a couple of games too. The Trap Door problem was really annoying though, I was getting right into that!!

As I mentioned before on this thread, if that happens, click on the grey bit directly below the emulator screen, and then click on the main game screen. It will then work.
