I haven't got time any more to do reviews, but I'm happy to do some editing if Michael wants to share the duties, I've done a fair bit of it before and am the sort of person who pulls a face when someone says "a myriad of".
Right PJ since everyone has really raped all the obvious ones, here's a few more requests, before I'm really stuck for anything to write beyond 1990 :D
For 91' gimme Budokan, loved that game on the Megadrive, not so good on the Miggy I mean still good, but I could never really get the Speccy one working properly I think, but I'm willing to give it a try :)
Kickbox Vigilante, I "pwned" that game with the greatest of ease :D
Pit Fighter, this game needs my opinion all over it
For 92 I'd like.....
....erm actually none of what's left, all the really good, and laughably crap games seem to have been nabbed, and the rest I either haven't played or don't want to
Viz is actually done from Michael so dont worry about that one.
Book 5 could very thin (obviously cheaper) but do an advanced search if you have time for these years as i'm happy to add any games to the list, as long as theyre mainstream type ones and not a basic listing or whatever !
Seriously if theres any you want to add which arent on the list just let me know as 91-92 could be very thin indeed !

I think I said in my first e-mail to you that I'd do Heartbroken for 89' :D
As for the rest of the years it would take me a while to come up with something, anything after 93 is pushing my brain as those were pretty much my early stoner days, and the only Speccy related antics I had was changing the text in BASIC games and letting my friends play them.
Then low and behold instead of saying game over it would say "Insert name here" smells
EDIT: Actually book 2's done, I'm off work I have beer, I'm bored, so maybe I'll just start sending you the reviews for book 3 :D

yeah, i got too late there too, so i got stuck with predator 2. never even played it, its prolly shite though.

If it's anything like the Megadrive version you're in for a treat, although the shite Megadrive version may actually come off as an OK Speccy game........Although that's highly unlikely.
You got me curious, I'm gonna have to play it, I think I have before but I don't remember it?
EDIT: No it's nothing like the Megadrive version, looks like a Gaylord version of Dynamite Duke

You can put me down for Snare for 92.
I also have several suggestions for the last book but I'm not sure enough of time to commit to many. I will do Egghead Round the Med, Ice Climber and Pussy: Love Story of the Titanic for starters though. I've already sent you On Reflection so could you update that on the page?
Have you thought about merging the last two books fr 91-2008?
ZX Heroes to me is still one of the best JSW games i've ever seen, like playing that game just to find a new room to see graphics from another game.
Not really, I try to keep all my JSW remakes as original as possible, but I chop a few things here and there. So far I think the only "Borrowed" graphics are the foggy sprite from Egghead 4 and Penfold from Dangermouse in Double Trouble. I borrowed a couple of sprites from JSW: Willy the Hacker too but I changed them so much that they don't really resemble the sprites I stole in the first place :D
Well there's already a room inspired by you in there "Bumchums", dunno how the fuck I'm gonna implement that one
But it should be amusing.
Maybe I can include the Frank N Stein sprite in there somehow
Miles and Frank N Stein would definitely make good aussie Bumchums. I will leave it to your warped imagination as to how, and from where Miles collects the discarded corks and where to put DanSolo's C64 bar b q.

Mirror Willy like you did in that room in the Fucking Internet series part 3 and change the sprite to have an erection :)
So psj do you want a sub-ed or not? The mistakes in Part 1 are getting on my nerves now :)
Also don't mean to moan too much but the reprints from Andrew's book are a bit :( Shame we couldn't have had a different perspective.

Well i know Michaels taken a lot of the comments on board so is taking his time editing book 2. Think we're okay for now cheers.
Whats wrong with Andrews reviews ? Very happy he let us use all of his reviews. Dont see how theyre a bit :( ?!

Well since I bought Andrew's book I've already read them. So would have been nice to see a different perspective on those games. However if you haven't read Andrew's book I doubt that would be a problem.

I have to see the GMRTBS review.

Yep I actually caught that and edited it out of my post but you must've read it before I'd finished editing it
That'll be great as i'm receiving a few here and there and filling in the gaps. No huge deadline like last time but be good to get moving on this one.
Thanks

it was one of the first games i tried on emulator, think i only played it the once though.

I often go through the listings for the games for these years and add about 20 or so myself.
I think book 5 could be a decent size, if its not i'll keep searching for games from those years to make it a good size !
Book 6 i hope will be 260 pages or so but this one will take a while because David Manns/Andrew rollings books/sites dont cover these years as much.
By the way Snare is a great little game !
- Updated the site with your reservations
I'd also like to reserve Miles Mad Mission for book 6 please.
Very crafty ! Tis done
as for 'miles mad mansion' i dont think it deserves a review. instead it should be a few sentances from each wosser on what they thought of it. eg
'this is one the best games i have played today'
'does anyone know where boozefreeks lives so i can break his legs'
'shocking'
what do you think?
prolly not a good idea. dont want to scare the kids.
True but might get many more orders from fetish customers

Gimme that game, even if it wasn't brilliant, I can pad the review out with page 3 girl related innuendos
