My NDS battery died

So the battery in my NDS finally died. I have had problems with it before, it was loosing charge suspiciously quickly, but now I came back from the vacation and was not even able to charge it, so I opened the cover and the battery is all bloated, glad it didn't spill anything out.

I started looking around for a replacement, but the official Czech Nintendo distributor doesn't even sell it normally, and when I called their repairs department, they told me they have it listed for 1000,- CZK. Ehm, no thanks.

The Nintendo normally sells one for 15,- USD or 10,- GBP, but seemingly only to local residents. So I was wondering if any of the US residents here would be willing to buy one of these and send it to me. I can pay the price back including the postage with PayPal. Please PM me in case you are willing to help so we can discuss the details.

    Since spring 2006 I think, cause I certainly bought it before the US version of MPH came out. But I have had the charging problems for more than a year now, I had to keep charging it often (every few days) to prevent it from depleting completely. I guess it's quite uncommon, though, many friends of mine have their DSes longer than I and their batteries are still fine, as is mine GBA one.

    I would rather have a new genuine Nintendo replacement in this case. I have already had my share of "original" Nintendo GBA cartridges from eBay.

    Thanks for the offer, but ZnorXman was kind enough to order one for me already. Sure, I could ask for either one, but given the choice, the one from the states comes out a little cheaper.

    Careful on shipping that ZnorXman...might be some extra costs involved....Batteries being explosive etc.

    I know whenever I ship internationally they always ask me that at the post office.

    true, but i could have sent it from work, so the postage wouldn't have cost anything. :)
