I went to see him at school a couple years back and he groaned about how cold it was here (January -35C) and he went on a rant for about an hour about what could possibly keep people up here etc. The guy talked non-stop for close to 6 hours ... about his hemorroids, his sex-life, his movies, etc, etc ... I was disappointed though because later I discovered it's a memorised routine (which I could have told myself, duh) which he released on his second A Night With K.S.
But overall he's an interesting guy ... haven't quite figured out if he's full of himself or just a jovial fat guy.
i can't stand kevin smith anymore. he used to be good when he was doing little cult films. but when you can buy 'jay and silent bob' comics, action figures, t shirts, etc. youve gotta start asking yourself is he a sellout. i mean the whole evening with kevin smith seemed a little big headed. its nothing he couldn't just bung as an extra on a DVD.
he's also slagged off a load of people in the industry which i find a little bit childish. you really can't compare LOTR's to star wars and say star wars had the better story line. idiot.

you can't compare the two, one is a well written piece of fiction, the other is a toy commercial.
yeah sellouts always joke about becoming sellouts. then people think they are being honest and must be a nice person.
