It's not like your cheating on a wife that could destroy your entire family, so put it into a little perspective - although I do understand how shit you feel. If you feel that strongly about this girl, try and put it behind you and don't put yourself into such a situation again - we're all suckers to temptation after a few sherbets, you certainly aren't on your own in that respect!

In my mind any woman that shrugs off that sort of behaviour will have low standards and probably aint good long term girlfriend material. Any woman with good standards worth dating for a long time will not take that.

she said it was cool, asked me the question if id done anything etc. i thought great i got away with it.
thne she waited till i was falling asleep later that night then went mental. im proper in the dog house now. i have a feeling things wont be the same anymore.

Its a catch 22, its good you told her but when she first acted like 'its okay' etc was strange, i'm glad in a way (sorry !) she did go mental later as thats the normal way for someone to react.

I have plenty of female friends, but these are friends of the wifes also, some are dead tasty, some arnt. , I would never have a famale friend that I hung arround with exclusively, that would be wrong.
If I knew the girl prior to meeting my wife, I will always introduce them if the occasion comes up.
I used to work for L'Oreal in an industrial placement some years back. I got the chance to meet, socialise and take home some very nice woman. Though to be honest, most did the I just want to be friends thing.
The one time things whent a bit weird was when my wife met my last ex girl friend in a pub. My missus was paranoid that my old GF might try somthing on.
My old GF was jellous and a little put out that my life seemed to be going so well, and the guy she left me for had left her jobless, penyless and unable to pay her mortgage off (that she bought me out off).
The feeling in the room was one I'd never come accross before. It was an interesting life experience.

This is a fairly minor incident which will be forgotten in a real long term relationship. Its not as if your intern gave you a blow job in the White House and the world debated your sordid bad morals and your kids saw it all unfold in the media. People put far worse behind them. You just have to start building up happier memories and 'togetherness' by doing stuff together. Plan to do something/go somewhere nice in the near future, get out photos of something where you were on good form together and suggest doing something similar - but don't do this whilst she is still angry with you or it will look desperate. You have to be sorry now but not begging forgiveness. It is as well to keep the begging card up your sleeve in case you do something really vile one day and you need to try and rescue a whole established family from separation.
