I can't remember the name, but it was the "company" who made a huge splash at the CGE about how they're re-releasing a ton of old games, then subsequently sold a handful of compilation CDs before going silent.
Sometimes I wish there was money in this hobby. I've just hit upon a treasure trove of photos (100's of 35mm negatives), but would take a *lot* of time to search through them, index them, etc, and that's time that the photographer cannot spare right now - at least, not without a siginificant cash incentive.
Any sugar daddies out there willing to help out? ;)
Still, these photos probably won't be going anywhere for a long time to come.

Ha ha i remember all of that ! Was quite amusing at the time. Kinda a nice idea as it could have reached a fair few people who werent use to Speccy and emulators but i think he did it all wrong and alienated a lot of people.
I had a look at their website a few weeks ago and its stale as anything now which is a shame.
Just email Altern8 and see what he says, you might be able to send some money via Paypal and he'll send you on the files.

Two of the games, Football Glory and Hop 'n' Chop are both available from Cronosoft, though it's possible that in my disorganization-ness, I've neglected to add them to the current website.

Sorry, couldn't help it - doh - that was his defense.
ahem...
Somehow, due to past threads on this website, I don't think he likes Spectrum owners very much.
If what he said earlier was true, you might want to try contacting some homeless charities...
