    Fish - Thirteenth Star.

It's Hobble On the Cobbles Festival today in Aylesbury town centre. This time last year Fish was playing, this year it's Eddie And The HotRods...

...don't think I'll bother going down this year.

After getting Aglio E Olio and Mels talk of hardcore, I decided I'd like to revisit DFL.

Unfortunately even though the albums were available to buy maybe they were actually pretty hardcore cos' I can only find snippits of their stuff online and have only been able to for the last 8-10 years or so.

I'd really like to listen to "Proud to be" again that was a crackin' album that was.

Or even "Americas Most Hardcore", not strictly an album, an EP or a compilation, as it only had 2 artists on it. As I remember rightly DFL was the A-side with 8 or 10 tracks, and the B-side was 4 tracks or mixes by DJ Hurricane (of Beastie Boys fame).

Haven't seen these here to buy in the US even though Grand Royale is still a very popular label here.

It's the CD single, it came in the same folder as the album I downloaded. It's quite good really, kind of an EP of it's own.

Is it the version that's almost 9 minutes long?

If it is it's probably ripped from the Summer Anthems CD (came free with Mixmag I think, or some equally shit music rag).

    Good tune though :D

    FUCK OFF

I'm with Karingal on that one :p

Nice tune, but overplayed at the time, and overated years later.

Infact I've grown to quite dislike it.

When it comes to ACDC that is not an acceptable explanation/excuse!!!

    :p

Is it the version that's almost 9 minutes long?

Nah, it's got about 5 different versions of it, longest being about 7 minutes long, and another track from the first album (which actually is about 9 minutes long).

Listening to: The Dandy Warhols - Thirteen Tales From Urban Bohemia
    Track: Godless
