Mirrorsoft/Images Works/PSS barcodes and scans

edited August 2008 in Games
Can't quite believe I'm putting myself through this again, but I'm in the early stages of creating a new web site all about Mirrorsoft (as a sister site if you like to 'The Bird Sanctuary' which is all about Telecomsoft) and I need help! ;-)

The reason? I worked for Mirrorsoft immediately after my stint with Telecomsoft/MicroProse and stayed with them until the company sunk...

Anyway, I really need barcodes for any Mirrorsoft, Images Works or PSS releases on the Spectrum. The barcodes should begin with either 5012342... or 5020026... if they don't (and it's a PSS title) then chances are it was from before PSS was owned by Mirrorsoft.

I only have a small handful so far for the speccy (all tape releases):

Action Reflex
Ancient Quests
Andy Capp
Ashkeron
BBC Mastermind
Biggles
Dynamite Dan
Dynamite Dan II
Fernandez Must Die
Mean Streak
Sai Combat
Spitfire 40
Terror of the Deep
Tetris

I also need good quality (preferably 300dpi) scanned images of the complete inlays (front back, spine etc) wherever possible.

If anyone can help, please let me know!

    Hi Rich

    two I have to hand:
    Strike Force Harrier - 5 012342 310100 (Mirrorsoft)
    Swords & Sorcery - 5 012484 000433 (PSS)
    Mcoder 2 (no code)
Actually I think all my PSS stuff is too early for you...Hopper, Maze Death Race, etc

I can provide scans as soon as I get my new scanner up & working.

    Hi,

That's great. Much appreciated! Thanks also for the offer of scans!

I'm pretty sure that 'Swords & Sorcery' was pre-Mirrorsoft as well, but I might be wrong on that one!

    Hi.

I've got Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles: The Coin-Op here (Image Works), barcode is:

    5 020026 911093

I was sure that I still had the original Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles game as well, but I can't seem to find it anywhere :(

    I haven't got a scanner, sorry!

EDIT: I doubt it, but I can also give you the barcode for the Alternative re-release of Andy Capp, if you're interested.

No worries re. the scanner, but thanks very much for the barcode! :-)

Thinking back, the TMHT Coin-op conversion was lucky to get released by Image Works when it did. Just a few weeks later and it would have probably been caught up in the whole 'administration' thing that flared up after Captain Bob disappeared off his boat...

    Yes, that's right.

It came with a voucher in the box to send off for a free Turtles LCD game. I bought the game as soon as it came out, from The Computer Shopper Show I think it was (our Physics teacher at school organised a trip there, nice bloke!) and sent off the voucher a couple of days later, then about 2 weeks after that I received a letter saying that because everything had just gone tits up, I wouldn't be getting my free game after all :(

I don't suppose you still have the letter? ;-)

Both First Samurai and Mega-lo-Mania also suffered from the administration we fell into. Only limited copies of the games were released and everything was put on hold as soon as the Administrators took control.

    Yes please! :-)

Good scans of the front, back and sides of the boxes along with instructions etc. (300 dpi so I can then manipulate if required) are also sought...
