Former TV and radio show producer, killed in a car accident at 55.

He worked on most of the comedy shows you lot will have heard about, from I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue (he invented Mornington Crescent) to Father Ted and beyond.

A huge loss to comedy.

Yeah I have the Hitch-Hiker's Guide radio and TV series.

But wasn't he also IN KYTV? If I remember, he was one of the "presenters" of the fake satellite channel?

Yep, plus you see him popping up all over the place in comedy shows over the past few decades.

I didn't mention Hitch-hikers purely because that's just one of many shows in his career, and is vastly overshadowed by the rest of his work.

What a great loss. Yes, he was in KYTV, but check out the credits of any quality comedy programme and you'll see his name.
