Our crowd used to hang out with Peter and the gang in 77 onwards, when they had their gear trashed whilst it was being stored in the crypt, some of them cried like real babies, especially Cheesey Chris. He used to cry if someone gobbed on his bass as well. I have a question which someone may be able to answer, Peter and the testube babies did a classic song " Elvis is dead " in my memory Smeggy and the Cheesybits ( later to become King Kurt ) did their song before them. Called the same, but far different, we all came from the same area, so does anyone know for sure which came first? To my mind it was definatly Smeggy`s, so it seems that P & the TTB stole the title. As I remember it Smeggy was released from his Majesty`s pleasure in August 77 and at a gig which was put on for his release, at the Resource Centre, they did " Elvis is dead ". The first release of this song as far as I know was on the Vaultage 88 LP, by P & the TTB, so to my mind I am remembering right. Admittedly Smeggy`s version was a shouted collection of sentances including " Cardiac arrest, cardiac arrest, call 911, call the ambulance, resuscitation, resuscitation, the fat bast*** " etc, hardly the same song, but the same idea, at a much later date! Coincidence, I am sure not when we all hung around togeather and attended each others gigs.
Oh, I almost forgot, I am listening to All about Eve at the moment.
today its mostly been
Mc Pitman - it takes a nation of tossers
Mc Pitman - music maker 7" (yer a cunting nano twat)
MC devvo and shady pies - from yorkshire to new york
lawnmower deth - mower liberation front
Professional Mel-the-Bell Simulator................"So realistic, I found myself reaching for the Kleenex King-Size!" - Richard Darling
PWEI (to abbreviate it like the twats do) X,Y, and Zee.
England + New Order: World in motion
the only decent football song...actually let me rephrase that the only decent British football song, there was Mas que nada, by Sergio mendez, and the Brazil 66 team, which was a cracking tune, and I'm going to listen to it after.

A quality tune albeit the one that split the band up
Psychadelic furs: Love my way.
Joy division: love will tear us apart.
New Order: Blue Monday.
Thompson Twins: Doctor Doctor.
Soft Cell: tainted love/where did our love go.
I'm on a cheerful 80's bender, or should that be an 80's bender fest
I like Skunk Anansie aswell. Infact, I bought their albums.
Oh, no. Every time you turn up something monumental and terrible happens.
I don’t think I have the stomach for it.

System of a down: B.Y.O.B., heard this tune while I was in the US back in 2005, loved it :D
System of a down: Toxicity, one of my friends really liked this tune back in 2001/2 or whenever it came out I thought they were another crappy Nu-Metal band and laughed at him for it, funnily enough I really like this tune now.
The Herbaliser...all kinds of his tunes, road of many signs, giant wallcrawling human spider, missing suitcase, when I shine, A mother.....and on and on :D
EDIT: I must say I love a lot of the tunes I've listened to recently, but a lot of them are far enhanced by actual smoking of the weed, if only I didn't have to worry about maybe being drug tested at work, I'd be on the green bhudda, like I always was.
I refused to listen to them at first for the same reasons, but then a mate lent me that same album and now they're one of my fave bands. The album after that (Steal This Album) is amazing.
On that note....
Soon to be listening to: System Of A Down - Steal This Album
Yeah, that's not a bad album either, considering Serj plays most of the instruments himself (I think). I particularly like Empty Walls and The Unthinking Majority.
I'm gonna have to listen to "the memory remains", I know all the genuine "Metallifux" think of the album tis came off as their pop album but I like the stuff off it.
I only liked a few of their earlier tunes, and used to ridicule my long haired school muckers for their strange devotion to Metallica.
I'm listening to "All Nightmare Long" from the new Metallica album. It's really good too! It's a million miles better than St Anger at least! It's nice and fast although too. I've also heard another track on YouTube and athough thats good, most of the riffs have been used before. It's kind of a cross between Fade To Black and One. I'm looking forward to the album now :)
the complete radio station rips from GTA 4 are great! Just now I'm giving Vladivostok FM a listen - excellent stuff. aside from that, xploding plastix, aphex twin . . .

the new metallica album :D
that "that was just your life"s a good track
I've been hearing good things about it, but haven't heard it yet... Their last few albums haven't really been all that great.
Listening to: Slipknot - All Hope Is Gone (Special Edition)
Track: Sulfer
I don't care if I am 29 and most of their fans are half my age, this new album is superb!!
Spearhead: Ganja Baby.
Just thought about Skunk Anansie for some reason, maybe I'll have a listen to some of their stuff, they weren't that bad as I remember.
I'm sure Skin was pretty attractive too, for a bald chick, she looked bloody rotten though with her blue hair and matching lipstick.
I think she looked pretty manky with her silver hair and lippy combo too
Skunk Anansie: Charlie Big Potato, Secretly, Weak, Dream, Selling Jesus, Carmen Quesy.
I think I'll check about some questionable sites for a few albums, I actually do like this band, think I secretly always did :D
Liked them about 10-15 years ago anyway, and they still seem pretty good.
I don’t think I have the stomach for it.
