Sunday Times manufacturing balls up national?

edited September 2008 in Chit chat
right
i bought the times this morning for the free hitchock dvd and it was missing
so i nipped down to the shop to see the manager but the lass said he was out.
ive just been down to buy some cheese before the shop shuts (shuts at 1pm on sundays) and the lass asked if i wanted to leave a message.
i said not really just a query about missing dvd from the paper........she said loads of people had bee in and complained about em being missing....she'd opened a few and found no dvds

so this thread is purely to see if its a local mistake to me, or could it be a major balls up all over the country?

anybody bought the times today and had a dvd, or not had the dvd?

has the times been norty and not put ANY dvds in the papers? tch

If WHSMITHS Or Smithnews as the ones who deliver the papers are known, are responsible for that shops papers then there's your answer.

    W.H.SMITH = unreliable shite :D

39 steps today (should be IN the paper)
then the rest of the week you can go to whsmith....and i presume save vouchers for others, finishing off with the lady vanishes in the paper next weekend

dm ours is a small local independent newsagent/post office/grocers
looks like a factory problem when bagging em up

They probably had more papers and supliments than DVDs, even when something like that happens they send em' anyway.

I'll definitely have to get that. I've usually found that the DVD isn't included in the paper. Instead you have to cut out a coupon and send it off to their office to get it.

todays WAS (supposed) to be in the paper, its the rest of the weeks daily dvds you have to save coupons.
theres no coupon, and not even a mention about contacting them if theres one missing which you find in all other papers with free discs IN THE PAPER

if you buy todays paper let me know if you get one in it.

doesnt seem to be any in papers here, somebody on the sheffield forum said there wasnt one in theirs in sheffield
just interested if its a local, yorkshire, regional or national fuck up :P
    seems national at the minute

took me ages to find a contact email addy on the timesonline.co.uk site too, but i did and fired off an email
