What's your midnight special?

*snicker snicker* "Midnight Special"

Anywho ... it's midnight over here and I'm hungry.

I just fried three eggs over hard and then dumped a can of VanCamp's beans and pork on top. Then plopped it over lightly buttered slices of bread.

I usually use baked beans but decided to live erroneously this time around. Was mildly surprised at how good the beans were, lightly sweet and the pork added a surprisingly enjoyable flavour to the concoction.

What kind of midnight-cookin' do you usually go for?

Cheese and cucumber sandwich and a cup of tea. Nothing exciting I'm afraid.
I stole it off a space ship.

I like those too ... except I'm not much of a tea-drinker really ... loathe any hot drinks actually.

karingal + lotion + couch = threesome (with a double advantage of falling asleep on the couch afterwards).

Damn ! You must weigh 300 pounds ?!? Thats a huge midnight special !

I may have a few choclates or a packet of crisps but i dont normally make myself another meal later on at night (if i've eaten an evening meal before).

Can?t go wrong with having a willing participant fall asleep next to you on the sofa.

This happens rarely, actually. BTW I?m under 165 pounds ... haven?t weighed myself in over a year.

I usually never have the need to eat around midnight but last night I couldn't fall asleep and fell into temptation ... I'm feeling it right now, have a bit of a gut-rot.

My fave midnight special is Branston Jalapeno & Chilli Relish on a couple of fajita wraps, topped with melted cheese and ham. Yummy!!

2 Steak and Cheese or Red Chilli Burritos, with hods of hot sauce!

That's if I'm off work and I don't have anything else to eat, I always have micrwave burritos, even though I'm friggin' sick of em'.

If I'm at work, bang on midnight every night I have a can of Dr. Pepper :D

Don't eat until 3am, used to be 2 but the boss switched everyones hours back, mumble, mumble......

I'm more of a Nerds kind a guy ... or the occasional Pixy Stix here and there.

Nerds here aren't quite right, the apple ones and the cherry ones taste how the used to when I was a kid, but what happed to the cherry cola flavoured ones?

If they were originally made in the US you'd think theyd have the same flavoured ones here as they did in England years ago.

Sweet Tarts also aren't really that good but they are refreshingly addictive, even though I don't really like em' that much, if I do start eating them I find it very difficult to put the box down.

Now Whoppers, a poor mans Malteser if I ever saw one are super more-ish, thought they were crap the first time I had em' then they grew on me, and now if I have some of them I have to have somebody take them away from me otherwise I'll eat the lot.

I'd rather be a nerd than yesterday's bean-burrito-scented farts ... but the scent really depends on what a person ingested yesterday.

12 blazin' boneless buffalo wings (the ones so hot they come with a warning) , seasoned fries (2 portions of cos' I ate the wifes as well), 5 mini corn dogs (the wife only had 1 of 6), and a hot chocolate brownie with ice cream and hot chocolate fudge drizzle (my wife convinced me to get it, then said she was full after 1 spoonful of ice cream).

All washed down with 6 22oz beers.

This was about 6 months ago but it brewed a fart so stinky my wife actually threw up, I mean literally.

She reminds me of it every now and then

When in Sweden: Cheezedoodles (why, oh WHY can't IKEA buy these for their shops in the UK!?!? Nah, let's sell five different types of crisps instead - Seeing as there are no crisps in England.)

When in England: Toasted crumpets with cheese (best under the grill) and a glass of milk.

After ten years in UK, I'm no closer to discovering what crumpets are. Mind you, i was in Scotland, where using such poncy english words would mean wearing your intestines as a necklace.

the scottish have their own version of crumpets (firmer, without holes). when ive stayed in scotland ive been served them for breakfast. i didn't get disembowled when i asked for them.

Must be a tourist or a regional thing. Don't recall seeing crumpets ever. Not in Dundee, thats for sure. A Wallace pie, yes, crumpets, no.
