Bugger I was finally going to order book 2 today, but my wifes gone to uni, and she won't be back til' I've gotta go to work.

I got so fucking angry at my wife the other day I said to her you're buying clothes and 5 $3.00 healthy choice microwave meals and all I want is a book that costs 16 fucking dollars, I've wanted it for weeks maybe even months now. I'm buying it!
What really got me is she turned round and said fine, you could have got it weeks ago if you'd wanted :evil:

EDIT: I knew book 3 would be done before I got book 2 though.

Update - Michaels still proof reading the large large document, hes on holiday for i think about 10 days, hes done a chunk already but couldnt finish it in time but will do the minute hes back.
As soon as i get that final document and paste in the final reviews I was sent i'll then email everyone about getting paid for their work.
Book 4 (1989-1990) is now all actions go.
The deadline is the end of November, preferably about a week before the end of Nov if possible but we'll see ! Should be smaller than Book 3 (which is huge !) but about the same size as Book 2 i would say.
Please start writing the reviews and sending me any completed ones to put into the document.
This ones got a fair bit of time (Like i say near the end of Nov) so we should be able to get everything done in time. Already 140 pages due to reviews i've already received from people etc.
Book 2 finally got here, only bugger is I've just woke about 15 minutes ago, and I have to leave for work in about 20 minutes, so I guess I won't be reading any of that for about another 8 or 9 hours :D
Good stuff PJ, I picked the book up about half an hour ago, and I haven't put it down since. About to read the Cauldron review, and I notice it does look slightly thicker than Book 1.
Book 3 will be a beast, i'm not doing my usual Victor Kiam self-praising but i cant wait for book 3 to arrive ! (As long as theres no issues !).
All gets a bit murky for me now as i left the Speccy scene Dec 89 i think it was, know a lot of the games through emulation but still a fair few i havent played.

Over 350 reviews, 470+ pages, biggest book yet we've done. ?10.95 for black and white pages and colour covers.
Theres a ton in there, there'll be lots of games you might not have played and will want to play afterwards.
Big thankyou to all the reviewers. We're now working on Book 4 (1989-1990) which has a deadline of end of Nov, so then we'll get it out before Xmas. Paid out to most of the reviewers, Top earner got nearly 21 pounds.
Raised a bit for charity as well so thanks. Not just saying it but best book yet for me, i left the Speccy scene late 89 so theres still a lot of games i might have passed by with emulation, a lot of games in the book totally jog the memory, others i like the look of from the screenshot.

Book 4 should be good, also Book 5 interesting as that is obviously at the Speccys poor death. But the 'resurrection' book (Book 6) should be really really good, thats the one i cant wait for !
All these years later i feel a traitor for leaving the Speccy at the end of 89 though ! Think i missed out on some good games.
