    I fired it up a while back - much more playable at x2 speed on the emulator (plus you can really ramp up the speed to twenty times to save you falling asleep as it generates the next floor... :lol:)

    I'd like to play Transylvanian Tower, but it doesn't run (i use ZX32 emulator).

    Seriously, I didn't think it was that bad when I first played it, although that would have been in early '83 when games written in BASIC were still marketable. The shelf-life of most games in those days was pretty short though, and it went from getting fairly positive reviews to being utterly panned in the space of a year or so.
