Spoken like a true Republican, grasping at fucking straws, Swiss army knife in pocket? OK!

You posted before like they were waving machetes at pensioners, I seriously hope you were taking the piss mate.

Basically the guy that called the cops on the guy with the nightstick was a white ex-marine, maybe he had a knife in his pocket but it was in his pocket not being brandished around and advertised as carrying a knife, maybe he had a gun up his knobhole and threatened to piss a bullet at a black teenager if he didn't vote McCain.

Remember you may live in one of the most red states in US but you're from Manchester originally, why the fuck do you care so much anyway?

I was quoting what the radio here said...and they said nightsticks and knives...obviously that got change later on when the 'truth' came out. Yes the swiss army knife comment was a bit of amusement....??! you didn't get that?

Why do I care?? Umm because I want to keep my paycheck..I work for a small business that under obama's tax plan will be hit HEAVILY, because I live here and who becomes the next president WILL have a MAJOR impact on my life in many aspects....strange question...

I'm from manchester yes...my dad was a union member and staunch labor guy all his life.....I loved Thatcher myself! :D

Texan Radio the source of believable stories

    Sorry that amused me

I don't work for a small business, I work for Schnucks a multigazillion dollar company. But I don't earn a load of money, so maybe I'll benefit from Obamas tax plan.

Of course I still have the option that if things go horribly wrong under whoever gets voted that I still have a home back in Blighty. Of course Ideally if I was going to bail I'd rather do it after I have citizenship :D

So if things do actually progress I can come back again if I want to.

The votes have been counted; Robert Mugabe is now the president of America!

Well, with what we know about the accuracy of Diebold voting machines, it wouldn't be a huge surprise if that turned out to be the case!!

Intestingly Texan Pasty is a Googlewhack (but only when put in quotes so it probably does not count.)

I think we found a hole in the market. I think we should get on that there Dragons Den program on the telly and make this a business.

First thing my missus said to me when I woke up "Obama won".

Funny thing is there's still a bunch of Republican dickheads Obama bashing on the news, what's the point they can't do anything about it now anyway idiots

    Just woke up?
I've been up all night. Just finished celebrating to get some sleep. :)

Really impressed by that live hologram broadcast that CNN had. Just like Star Wars but in high definition and true colour. Amazing.
    First ever holographic broadcast

Great speech by Obama too. :):):)

Obama has won. I will sleep better tonight.

Whoever had won, the election has been a victory for democracy - it was the highest election turnout by voters since the 1960s. Also, the campaign has been less negative than ones before it.

In a parallel universe, where I am American and running for president, I shall try something totally novel. No negative campaigning at all. I won't even mention the other side, all I will campaign about is what I could do for the country. Bet I'd win that one, too. The negative campaigning by the Republicans hurt them, I think.

I would say Tom DeLay, but he hasn't actually been tried yet. So perhaps Kenneth Lay (posthumously) or perhaps Jeffrey Skilling.
