edited December 2008 in Chit chat
since I haven't really touched microsoft computers at all for years now, I could do with a software recommendation for my girlfriend's computer.

Which free software do you all use for burning CDs?

    Oooooh! Epic Burn!

    ...

    No wait ... it's just a reg'lar run-of-the-mill anti-PC aowen post ;-)

well XP burns CDs out of the box too, not very well of course... and in fact if your PC came in a box it would probably have had something pre-installed to burn CDs.

The OS is only as good as what is installed on it, take a bare minimum linux distribution and burn me a CD... oh dear there wasn't room on the floppy disk for that so they left any CD burning software out...

I hate Vista too but I'm in a bad mood :p

    I use CDBurnerXP.

The burningprogram from Vista can't be read by my Win98-laptop.

I use Ashampoo Burning Studio 2009 - it's a free piece of software and looks and works almost exactly like Nero.
