hello

i hope somebody can help me with this dilemma i am having.i am looking for a website that you logon/post and chat and meet new friends online(female).i have heard of some but not to sure how to go on about things.i have not been lucky in love and at nearly 42 some tears have flowed,never mind eh.as the title of the post says.thank you to one and all

    female friends for free or for one night? :) Tried IRC/MSN/ICQ/Yahoo/GTalk? Facebook/Classmates/Myspace?

    use a proper dating site, preferable one you have to pay for. anything for free will be full of wierdos and men asking for sex.

    match.com will be your best bet.

    the one i used to meet my current bird was guardian.soulmates it was pricey but you got a real high class of girls. it might not suit you as it was very london based, saying that though, i got a couple of shags out of it and i live in yorkshire. and the subscription i paid worked out cheaper than paying for porzzers, so it was all good.

    you have to really live in a city or at least close to one to get a decent ammount of contacts.

    i know paying for it sounds like throwing your money down the pan, but a free site will scare the women away due to the desperate men.

    PS if you are wanting to google you love life, remember sites that appeal to men will be full of men, sites that appeal to women will be full of women.

    For what it's worth, I registered with www.loopylove.com in the UK at the back end of 2006, met a lovely lady within 2 months and we're due to be married on 23rd January this year. So that's one success story from online dating, and a recommended site too! :lol:

    Glad you've met someone but blimey that seems quite quick ? Met her end of 2006, and just over 2 years later marrying her ?

    Hope it works out of course, just seems quite quick. Granted i did marry my now-wife after seeing her for 2.5 years but i've known her for 12 years.

    Sometimes those of us who have long term partners forget how daunting it sometimes feels not to have one, and indeed how to get one. I'm sure a lot of these web sites work for many people, I've always found 'love' by accident, wasn't looking and it snuck up on me. Why I don't know, I'm hideous to look at.
